Black or White Window Trim? -- Good Questions

Q: We are replacing our windows (well, actually replacing EVERYTHING because we had a house fire....) and I am not sure if I should go with white or black windows. We are trying to get back as much of the mid-century feel of the home as possible. The siding is painted a greyish-green, but I would like some flexibility to paint another colour in the future when it requires (deep navy or grey or black are colours I consider right now) What colour trim?
